Adam is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Planet Indonesia, a grassroots non-profit dedicated to conserving at-risk ecosystems and species through community partnerships. His work centers on inclusive conservation, where the knowledge, perspectives, and aspirations of coastal communities shape how marine and coastal resources are managed in Indonesia and beyond. Adam’s approach to conservation is deeply connected to leadership. He believes that durable environmental outcomes depend on strengthening the people and institutions responsible for stewarding natural resources. Alongside his organizational leadership, Adam is actively engaged in leadership coaching and organizational development. He views scaling not simply as expanding programs, but as building others, nurturing confident, adaptive, and resilient leaders within communities, partner organizations, and activists. For Adam, leadership development is both a strategy and a responsibility: strengthening the human foundations that allow conservation initiatives to endure, evolve, and multiply their impact over time.
