Edinburgh Ocean Leaders is made possible through a diverse set of global partners
The University of Edinburgh, one of the world’s most international universities with a rich history of pioneering marine research and a deep commitment to civil society, is a foundational partner of the Edinburgh Ocean Leaders programme.
The programme’s genesis draws on the expertise and enthusiasm of University of Edinburgh graduates, colleagues and global contacts, who are themselves leaders in positive ocean change.
The Edinburgh Ocean Leaders programme has a shared optimism for the oceans with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco, starting with the university hosting the 9th Edition of the Monaco Blue Initiative in 2018.
Building on this genesis, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation became a foundational partner alongside the University of Edinburgh and continues to be a key supporter.
